Dans la "Mr. Plow" episode de The Simpsons, on retrouve une citation de Homer qui s'applique à notre situation : "Now we play the waiting game... aww, the waiting game sucks. Let's play hungry, hungry hippos !"

Le cardiologue est venu quelques heures après mon départ d'Halifax. Il a mentionné qu'il est un peu regrettable que Manon ait le rhume, mais que ça ne va pas la garder à l'IWK longtemps. Ayant dit cela, il ne pensait pas que Manon pourrait s'en revenir mercredi.

Donc, il faudra attendre encore quelques jours. Mais il va sans dire qu'attendre encore deux ou trois jours c'est bien plus intéressant que d'autres scénarios qui auraient pu avoir lieu...

The cardiologist dropped by a few hours after I left for home. He stated the obvious - that it's too bad she had to be held back because of the common cold. Yet, he didn't feel it would push back the departure date too much. Having said that, he doesn't figure Manon will be going home on Wednesday.

And so, we continue waiting for the big day. That's ok, I can think of too many scenarios that would have been far less pleasant than a few more days in Halifax...
