Manon s'est levée de bonne heure, car nous devions nous rendre à l'IWK pour 7h00 ce matin. Heureusement, puisqu'elle ne comprend pas le concept de l'opération, elle s'est comportée comme elle a l'habitude.

Vers 8h15, l'infirmière est venue la chercher. Au début, elle a pleurniché un peu, mais nous avons su par la suite qu'elle était de bonne humeur après quelques minutes.

À 10h30, ils ont placé Manon sur la "bypass machine" et tout se déroulait bien. Nous avons parlé à l'infirmière qui s'occupera de Manon après l'opération à PICU (pediatric intensive care unit). Elle attend la venue de Manon.

Nous attendons avec impatience de bonnes nouvelles, mais nous trouvons la journée déjà longue. Nous avons hâte de la revoir.

Manon was up and about early this morning, because we were asked to be here at the IWK for 7:00 am. Thankfuly, since she doesn't grasp the concept of an operation, she was her normal self.

Around 8:15, the nurse came to get her. At first, she was a bit fussy, but we later learned that she quickly calmed down thereafter.

At 10:30, Manon was on the bypass machine and everything was going according to plan. We met with the nurse that will be caring for Manon in PICU (pediatric intensive care unit). She is waiting for Manon's arrival.

It is difficult, but we are waiting for news. It's hardly even dinner time, but it's already been a long day. We can not wait to see her.
